Oh, gosh, we had an experience with one of those, years ago. The dog was barking in the back yard, about midnight, so my husband went out to see what it had cornered. He came in the sliding door and said "THAT'S THE BIGGEST FREAKIN' RAT I'VE EVER SEEN" as this huge "rat" ran thru the open slider, into the house, and into the bathroom, hiding behind the toilet. At midnight, we had to call animal control to come and get this "rat" out of the house. As it ends up, it was a possum, but not something we wanted to keep as a pet :-).
