Wow, that was long and a bit tedious in spots but I made it through. Towards the end, someone asked if there's a difference between Spanish riding and Portuguese riding. His answer: "No, there's good riding and there's bad riding." I liked that. He's an interesting guy, and I'd like to see him sometime. I'm a bit envious of my cousin's husband. He retired early and he goes up and spends a week training with JP several times a year - he's done it for several years now. (I doubt I'd want to do it that often though...) Last year he bred his remaining reining-horse-bred QH mare to one of JP's stallions, producing what they call an Azteca foal. Karen Thomas, NC
