it isnt really. Just creepy for those of us unused to eating horse meat. I could never wear a dog or cat fur either... a person I work with, she won't even wear leather shoes, she wears plastic shoes, wont eat any meat, not even eggs or milk. But she wears HUMUNGOUS diamonds, has about a 3 karat wedding diamond, has a separate band of three 1-2 carat diamonds in a row, has about a 3 k diamond around her neck, earrings... then I saw that movie "blood diamond" I eat meat like crazy, wear old ratty furs from the goodwill, wear leather shoes and clothes... but I will never again in my life buy another diamond, not even a small one, and I will not ever wear one again. I switched to a simple band for a wedding ring, and i wont even wear fake diamonds. I dont know why, but something in me just thought wow, this is so wrong, the way families and children are abducted and slaughtered and enslaved and murdered, just so the big diamond companies can put the diamonds in storage and drive the price up and put out these romantic beautiful ad campaigns about how you need to be sure and buy a diamond that costs six months salary, or how you should get three diamonds in a row, past present and future, all that crap. I dont care what you do tho, any of you, just something I choose to do. besides, i am gonna sell all my diamonds on ebay and buy horse stuff with it :) Janice -- even good horses have bad days sometimes.
