I chased Sophie across the kitchen a few weeks ago...one leap...and my
knee was buggered....still is...

I don't like that practise either....but getting back to Icelandics..

Have you ever watched a horse tip toe across the ice?  They take it
very slow and cautious.  When it's icy around here, no one
rides...period.  Who would want to risk injuring a good horse over a
stupid decision to ride that day?
