Such an odd thing to say. I ride my mare with every other kind of horse, TWHs, Rocky Mountains, warmbloods, quarter horses, etc with no problem keeping up. I've gone on large group rides and about an hour of so into the ride people will invariably start commenting on how Svort not only keeps up, but she appears in better shape , less winded, etc than the "big" horses. Did this seem like an odd comment to you?
