I don't know.  Maybe because they eat the injured ones?  For the
horses that slip and slide and fall...does anyone go and check them in
a day or two and see whether they are stiff and sore?

Tell me something (this is to anyone that knows)....are Icetolts a
huge thing or popular in areas where people normally experience the
ice and snow of a regular winter?  Or are these popular where the ice
of winter would be considered a novelty?

Where I live no one rides during icey conditions...unless ....
well...they happen to cross an icy patch by accident.
