thanks Debbie... yes I think he is a real handful! But of everyone I know, her horses are the most well behaved and well trained so I am not too worried about it! She is not one to let a horse act disrespectful. She is working on ground training basics with him, and one interesting thing she found, interesting to me too... he was hesitant to get in the trailer, but once he did, and she had to haul him and the others, he would not get out. So she worked on it, and now he will hop right in, seems to enjoy being hauled, but when they unload, he won't and she has to really work on sweet talking him out of there. We just wonder what would make him do this... even when his mom and the other mare come out he will just stand and look forlorn that they have left him. Do you think he perceives the step down as scarey??
Also his favorite place to take a nap is a place where he could easily cast himself. any suggestions on that? Janice -- even good horses have bad days sometimes.
