thanks Debbie...  yes I think he is a real handful!  But of everyone I
know, her horses are the most well behaved and well trained so I am
not too worried about it!  She is not one to let a horse act
disrespectful.  She is working on ground training basics with him, and
one interesting thing she found, interesting to me too...  he was
hesitant to get in the trailer, but once he did, and she had to haul
him and the others, he would not get out.  So she worked on it, and
now he will hop right in, seems to enjoy being hauled, but when they
unload, he won't and she has to really work on sweet talking him out
of there.  We just wonder what would make him do this...  even when
his mom and the other mare come out he will just stand and look
forlorn that they have left him.  Do you think he perceives the step
down as scarey??

Also his favorite place to take a nap is a place where he could easily
cast himself.  any suggestions on that?
