I hear you. Basically I feel he is ready to be sat on for a minute but I am too heavy. And he is too young. I think I will just see how it goes. Play it by ear. My intent is not to have him "ridden" but backed. briefly. I was thinking my husband could hold kale around the waist and if Nasi steps away he could just slide off into my husbands arms. But nasi has stood at the mounting block for months without moving a hair while I woggled the saddle leaned over him, waved arms all around, slapped stirrups against his sides. he seems to take a nap...
