And according to "the experts" since it's the release
that teaches,you are supposed to keep the pressure on
until the horse "tries".  Well not me, no more!  My
two current mounts don't like pressure and respond
differently to it, so I am virtually eliminating
pressure, at least the NH type.  Last week, when I
took Whisper to the lake for the first time this year,
she started backing up, and I just went limp and
passive.  As soon as she stopped and took one foot
forward, click, treat, and in 15 seconds we were in
the water.  So I am liking passive instead of
pressure, and then a click/treat for doing well.
