At 57 I worry sometimes about how many more years I will have in the saddle and then I see folks like your mom
I have a bulletin board over my computer that displays pictures of Robyn Hood's mom, Niels West and Bill Dorrace. I'm turning 66 and all of there riders (I think) were past 90 at the time the photos were taken. Does anyone know the name of the Texas woman who died as a result of a fall form her last horseback ride, at about age 99? She said something along the lines of "Well, that was not a particularly graceful final dismount". Susan, is there a good picture of your mom and her horse that I could print for my collection?
