Actually Janice it isn't. I have both and they are entirely different.
You couldn't do the porcupine game with 4 phases of pressure with a
lunge whip. The carrot stick is entirely rigid. The savvy string does
not even turn it into a whip because there is no 'whip' action. I also
have a Tellington Jones wand. That is different again but not a whip.
It is an excellent tool. I like to have variety in my tool box and
learn from different sources. My ponies like the variey too.
