most if you breed and not meat produce you register your foals
but if it is unregistered I can´t compet ,show or not breed it either to a 
"better" stallion as stallion owners do send in what mare has been breed to 
them during summer. the registration of a foal is free doesn´t coast a penny so 
why not registerer the foal?  I can also registered this foal with no father 
and still get to compet and show and breed.
