> Hey Malin, this reminds me of a question I've had: Since it's a given or > obvious all foals born in Iceland are purebred, are all Icelandic foals > registered generally? If not, is there any exclusions from showing / > breeding of unregistered stock? > > Thanks, > Renee M. in Michigan who is SOOO happy we are *I think* beyond the snow stage! most if you breed and not meat produce you register your foals but if it is unregistered I can´t compet ,show or not breed it either to a "better" stallion as stallion owners do send in what mare has been breed to them during summer. the registration of a foal is free doesn´t coast a penny so why not registerer the foal? I can also registered this foal with no father and still get to compet and show and breed. Regards Malin www.kolugil.is
