i wonder if it is memory foam.  You see so many things made of memory
foam, even bed mattresses, saddle pads, saddle seats etc.  I bought a
little memory foam travel pillow and used it for a while and found
every time I did it felt great about ten minutes and then squshed down
hard as a rock and gave me a miserable headache.  Like sleeping on a
boulder.
