I don't think there are many mass-produced saddles that do that. I was impressed that Dave Genadek's western saddles came surprisingly close (maybe they did do it) do that for even super-short-backed Sina. If I ever get a yen for a treed western saddle, those will be the first ones I'll look at. But, in the meantime, we're doing so well with our Sensations that I don't feel the need to buy another saddle right now. And, another point, there are some English saddles, dressage models particularly that come to mind, that appear to have some sort of flare in front (and that would be "flare", not "flair", right?) but if you check carefully, even though the saddles appear wide enough at the gullet opening, they are often too tight as the tree narrows somewhere about the area of the stirrup bars. I don't literally think it's the stirrup bars though, at least not all the time. Karen Thomas, NC
