The out-the-door price for 2 of them was $6100 - but we are spending $100/week for gas for the two of us, so we figure the scooters will pay for themselves within a little over a year (or less, if gas keeps going up).
Abby and I once rode our bikes along the highway that goes from Grants Pass down to the coast. Every time a semi powered by, it felt like the bike was picked up and deposited in a different place. It was pretty scarey and I don't think I'd choose to commute that way either. We're 25 miles from town and our fuel bill is running over $500 a month. Our daughter, whose family lives as far from town as we do, is paying for her Toyota Corolla with the gas savings compared to the van she drove before. Nancy
