When we were at a boarding barn, the arena rule was whoever was there first should not be interfered with, if you interfered, your horse was unruly or disturbing the rest, you should leave and come back when they were done. I used to go in and ride my horse around the edges while people had lessons in the middle or practiced the jumps in the middle. If their horses were making my horse want to go, then that was my problem. But if I was there first, then it was their problem and they needed to go... maybe you could talk to someone about clarifying this and being more polite?? Could be dangerous. and at the very least, i agree it was rude! Janice
