haha! I went to a blm mustang adoption a couple of years ago. There
was a donkey that was "approximately" 10 years old, he was so lame he
had not walked on one rear foot for so many years the hoof was a foot
long. He got around great on the three good legs tho. he just looked
so wise and kind. One of his ears had a perfect bite clipped out of
it, an old scar. I asked one of the handlers "do you think he would
get beat up by my horses?" and he said "well. He has survived in the
wild with three legs to be this old, rounded up by a helicopter, I
imagine aint nothing could hurt him..." and I was thinking I HAD to
adopt him cause no one else would when I heard a man in overalls
behind me on his cell phone "well,.he's crippled and I just feel like
no one else is ever gonna want him" and I did the same thing karen, I
just went WHEW, someone else is gonna take him and love him... :)
