well, i guess God didnt want me starting in too soon with trausti cause I really wanted to spend time with him today, going for a long walk, tacking him up and standing him at the mounting block and wobbling him around etc, like you would do a green horse, just to see if he is relaxed here, and late last nite I went out to get Jas in, because of his thinness problem we have been leaving him out alone to eat grass for long hours. I was in my nighty and barefooted and he was so sweet and kinda dozing and I was loving on him and he was being unusually for him, loving back, and then he took a step toward me, came down full weight on my left foot and when I screeched he jumped away, giving his hoof a good twist in leaving so I have two broke toes now. Been there done that so many times I would not even dream of bothering to go to the ER--- hours of waiting amongst drunk puking spring breakers sunburnt like lobsters... then being told your toes are broke and putting tape on them cause theres nothing else can be done for broke toes. and that will be hundreds of dollars thank you very much. So I just iced them and then wrapped in tape so today I am limping bad. but maybe I will feel better in a while. even the most laid back calm most deadbroke horse in a loving mood can break your bones :) Janice
