He's beautiful and just the color of the formerly black Tosca.

When my black horses, Tosca and Hunter, lived here at home they stayed 
black.  When they moved to Creekside, half a mile up the road, they both 
faded badly.  I can't imagine there is any difference in the quality of the 
sunlight.  I wonder if it has to do with pasture grass and sunlight 
combined.  They are more inclined to stand in the shade of trrees here, but 
they have shelters at Creekside.
