Last week at the beach, we had one day where the high was 58, so this is really hard to take. That was unusually cool, but that part of the NC coast is typically several degrees cooler than we are in the summer. It's not unusual for us to have a couple of 100-degree days in the summer here, but I don't remember that happening in early June before.
