My goodness Sylvia, your plate is very VERY full. And bless you for your work with disabled children. The teaching assisitants in our childrens's lives have a huge impact - right after the bus drivers. This year's taught Ronnie several new words!
Now here's a word of advice from old mom Nancy. You will feel more energy if you make time for the horses (or anything else you choose to do) than if you don't. We have four kids with cerebral palsy, all in wheelchairs. It's not an accident that I ride six days a week most weeks. That's how I stay sane. That two or three hours away from the house really charge my battery. If your husband can be left alone, leave him sitting there with a cell phone and instructions for calling 911. If he can't, see if a friend or neighbor can come in. Forget the house. The secret word is HORSE. Love, Nancy
