I'm sure it is. More ex-stallions than mares poop in piles for sure, but I wonder if not only when they became ex's is a factor, as well as how strong their testosterone and sex-drive was when it occurred. Landi and Isak are just a month apart, both gelded at one year. Landi was a cryptorchid, and his testicles were quite small when he was gelded. Isak was born fully equipped, and was mounting mares when he was just a few months old, and tried to challenge/fight his daddy when he was just 8 months old - Landi remains sexually-clueless to this day. Isak doesn't have any "real" stallion traits lingering, but he still has that "streetwise kid" attitude about him that is kinda cute, but harmless. It's pretty cute to see a little macho swagger in a 12.2H colt - he's a teddy bear, but a swaggering one. :) Karen Thomas, NC
