If you can feel a tight spot, I'd pass on using it on him - but it is cute on him. Another thing about that saddle is that, like a lot of western saddles, it has that "hump seat" that I don't like at all. Those seats tend to force you to lean back into the old chair seat, and that puts your weight at the very back of the saddle tree. For many Icelandic's that probably means putting weight onto the loins. Karen Thomas, NC
