Hi Janice:
His name is Kambur from Icelandic Thunder.  Kambur means rooster
comb.  He had mane that stuck up straight for the longest time compared to
the other foals born last year.   That is how he got his name.
It eventually flopped over but I think it was just thicker than the rest.
He is SD bay and you can tell this if you look at his lower legs from the knee
and hock down.  He also has vertically striped hooves, a characteristic of
SD but will eventually grow out to be solid black.  It is hard to believe
nobody spoke for him thus far because he was the best of all my foals born last
spring.  (my opinion only).  He was the only colt born with 6 other
fillies and guess everybody just wanted girls.  I know the right person
will come for him someday.  It was just meant for me to keep him longer so
I could see how handsome he was going to become.  I know all things happen
for a reason.
