They are truly characters these horses. My pony Segull/Willie is now in a
funk. We have two rescue horses here and they are HUGE. Since he is a scrapper
so I put him up top behind the barn in a 24' square pen.
He is furious over this, he walks around snapping his head in circles. They
are in my arena and he is not a happy pony. He thinks he is huge and would
challenge them and get hurt. The filly has sense to keep her nose out of their
business. Every now and then I see her do the mouthy thing at them like see
me I am the baby. She is in the middle pen between the two areas. One is a
warmblood cross and must be seventeen hands tall. He is very pretty and a bay
with a white star. Big huge hip on this guy. What are warmbloods anyway?
Hanovarian type things? He could walk over jumps. This horse eats out of the
feeders from the top like it is a bucket.
We had a snake move in today so I helped him get past the birds. He is a
gopher snake so we like those kind. He knew I was helping him and wiggled into
my rock pile. My dogs did not see me do this either. We have an owl living in
my big tree so he has to keep hidden also or that will eat him too.
Waiting for people to possibly adopt the big guys. Both horses are
professionally trained. Wearing shoes and fit as can be. No hay belly here.
