And since I clicker train, I can click when he lowers his head AND his HR is down. Anywhere from $50used to hundreds, depending on the model. Mine is a Garmin 305, so its a GPS with the HR moniter. It was a bit pricy, but hubby bought it for me for my birthday last year. It does time, distance, mph, and HR and is downloadable to the computer including the ability to put it on google maps. But I think I'm going to buy a used, cheap HR only moniter for Mom's horse.
