I admit that we include our horses in the rehabbing/training of new horses. It was particularly effective for Cali. She's a curious busybody (and actually a good many horses are) so I use that to our advantage. Part of our daily unwind period is to take a stroll through the pastures, stopping to speak to each horse. Since the horses are curious and friendly, that encourages the new ones to see us as valued visitors, not intruders to the herd. Karen Thomas, NC
