Perhaps... There were 12 years between books 4 and 5 and now it's only been 6 years since book 5 was published. And she's just a bit over 70 years old so she should not die of old age yet. By the way in Finland she's known as Untinen-Auel which I think is quite ridiculous since she doesn't actually use her Finnish surname. Krisse
