We ate all the strawberries. Carrots aren't ready yet. Didn't grow
rasps. 10lb of blackcurrant jam (first year one plant). Gooseberies and
redcurrants were ok. Tayberries are good too. I can't wait for the
fruit trees to get established. Only 6 cherries this year and one
solitary peach. The plums and apples are doing well as already
established. Then there are the hazlenuts and cobnut if we can wrestle
them off the squirells. Onions are doing well as is the sweetcorn and
florence fennel.Forget the cabbages, looks like the only way we will be
eating them is inside rabbit. ; ) This is heaps better than working for
a living.
