Dear community, soon we will be releasing the final Icinga 2 2.0.0 release after 2 beta releases. So far the last remaining bugs have been nailed down and it's really looking good. Although nobody's perfect, so please get your hands dirty as well and add your test feedback for making this release really great.
While upstream packagers are already working on their packages, packages.icinga.org offers the latest snapshot builds for your to test. Furthermore there's progress on Ansible playbooks, puppet, salt, chef still in planning mode. If you don't know which one to chose, just fire our Vagrant VMs, and use a pre-installed environment for further functionality tests. The Icinga 2 Vagrant Box has been moved to https://github.com/icinga/icinga-vagrant and now offers the standalone and 2 node cluster box editions. Additional things to do * Documentation: Something unclear, wrong, missing? * Boot your own CentOS, Debian or OpenSUSE and use the snapshot packages from packages.icinga.org; configure and run icinga 2. * install thruk/nagvis and icinga2-enable-feature livestatus * install graphite (a ready to use box is also available at https://github.com/icinga/icinga-vagrant) and icinga2-enable-feature graphite * install pnp/ingraph and icinga2-enable-feature perfdata * verify checks, notifications, dependencies, event handler, etc If you got questions, make sure to read the documentation at http://docs.icinga.org first.
