Hi,

I have the problem that my icinga 1.7.1 does seem to ignore my service
escalations.

For example, here is an excerpt from my mh-contacts.cfg:
define serviceescalation {
        hostgroup_name norm-notify
        contact_groups all-admins-mail
        first_notification 1
        last_notification 0
        notification_interval 120
        escalation_options w,u,c,r
        escalation_period 24x7
}

The host group norm-notify is not empty.

However, icinga check says that it reads the mh-contacts.cfg and then
ignores my service escalations:

|Reading configuration data...
| Read main config file okay...
|Processing object config file '/etc/icinga/commands.cfg'...
|(...)
|Processing object config file '/etc/icinga/objects/mh-contacts.cfg'...

| Read object config files okay...
|
|Running pre-flight check on configuration data...

|Checking service escalations...
| Checked 0 service escalations.
|(...)
|Checking host escalations...
| Checked 5 host escalations.
|(...)
|Checking obsessive compulsive processor commands...
|Checking misc settings...
|
|Total Warnings: 0
|Total Errors: 0
|
|Things look okay - No serious problems were detected during the pre-flight
check

The 5 host escalations that icinga sees are defined in the same file.

What am I doing wrong?

Greetings
Marc
