Tried yesterday the command from the browser and it doesn't work either (think
i saw something wrong the first time....)

Could someone els confirm this behavior, cause it looks like a bug...
can't find anything about it in the logs (also debug...) and as i recall
correctcly, works for acknowledging a host problem (cmd_typ=3)

I'd check the apache logs for messages.

      Hi Daniel & others,

        I already have disable_cmd_cgi_csrf_protection=1 in my cgi.cfg,
otherwise it gives an error that the command wasn't send by a
        browser...
