I am trying to setup Icinga Notification to more than one user groups, but each user gets a different email notification. I want to have a single email thread for a notification with all users in CC, this makes email delivery efficient and also future communication on the notification will be shared with all the users in CC. I see that icinga is referring to variable "$user.email$" to send email notification to individual user of user groups. Do we have any similar variable like "$user.email$" which provides list of all users which i can supply to the mail notification script to put all the users in CC and have a single thread for an alert notification. I have an alternative to create email alias with selective node / host group filtering, e.g. assign notification where host.vars.application == 'xyz' or some other selection. But may be there is a way to achieving this without creating user alias. Any pointer is much appreciated. thanks!
