Yeah, i read it before. But there is only described how to upgrade locally. But
in my case, icinga and mysql are two different servers.

Hi,

if i have an external DB Server, how can I update the database (Icinga has the
version 1.12.1 and the DB 1.6) ? Do I have to copy the update files from the
ICINGA, and run the commands on the MySQL server to update the database?

There is documentation for that. Please read it.
