Hi William,

Basic auth is possible using our latest snapshot. There’s also the possibility
to use „external authentication“ for delegating authentication to your web
server. Please refer to doc/authentication.md and
doc/external_authentication.md for more information.

Best,
Eric

Hi Folks
Trying to understand how the icinga2 web authentication works and couldn’t find
anything in the docs. I need to be able to auth from a display system that is
non-interactive so I can’t login through the web interface, so ideally I’d like
to be able to pass a token or basic auth header to the request to authenticate.

Thanks in advance,

William
