Dear Nobuo and Dustin,
Could you specify - how many hosts and services do you have ? Did any event were lost ? I want Snmp solution - it's more simple for me and use less memory, as i think, than nsca. But i afraid, that we may lose some traps, due to snmp protocol, used by snmp. Thank you for your answers ! 15.09.2015, 04:10, "Nobuo Matsushita" <[email protected]>: > I use Net-SNMP and SNMPTT. > > This is how I am doing for SNMP traps: > > When a trap is received by snmptrapd, it passes the trap information to > SNMPTT software.I configured SNMPTT.conf based on traps I want to deal > with.
