Hi,

Basically a user w/o any role assigned has no permissions. You may define roles
in /etc/icingaweb2/roles.ini or in the web interface once you have a privileged
user. Take the following as an example for the admin role
(/etc/icingaweb2/roles.ini):

[admins]
permissions = “*”
users = “<user>”

Best,
Eric

Hi ,

How can I create a user for icingaweb2 with all admin rights .
I created one user ( followed the documentation in authentication.md) in db ,
but that does not seem to have admin priviledges in UI .

Thanks,
Madhu
