Hi Eric, We just use the default configuration for the GraphiteWriter (localhost, port 2003). Upon restarting the Icinga 2 process, it sometimes even sends a few metrics, and then just stops. No error message, nothing.

[2016-03-02 21:49:40 +0100] debug/GraphiteWriter: Add to metric list:'icinga2.someotherhost.host.hostalive.perfdata.rta.value 0.00027500000000000002 1456951779'. ... If I send metrics manually, the whisper files get updated with no problems at all, which leads me to believe the problem is on the Icinga 2 side of things... # echo "icinga2.somehost.host.hostalive.perfdata.rta.value 0.00075799999999999999 $(date +%s)"|nc 127.0.0.1 2003 --> Whisper file is updated Oh well, I am probably going to open another issue on the Icinga 2 bugtracker then. I think they hate my guts by now...
