Dear list,
sorry if this appears as a total noob question to you, but still I feel
I need to ask it.
I wrote some Python snippts to interact with the Icinga2 API - so far I
love the possibilities I have.
When I create a new host object, it is shown within Icingaweb2 (which
uses IDODB). However, running "icinga2 object list --type=host" doesn't
show the new object.
When reloading the icinga2 service, the new object appears in icinga2
object list.
Is this normal or am I facing an unnormal situation?
So far I though creating new objects via API do not require a reload or
restart.
Any hint is highly appreciated. And I again, I apologize if this is
something I should find out myself.
