Hi,

I have Icinga 1.2.0 running with the classical user-interface (based on cgi's).
In my production environment I use Kerberos authentification in apache to
authenticate the support staff. Now I want no migrate to the new icinga-web
interface and everything is fine excepting the authentification.

I want icinga-web to use the credentials distributed by apache. The
http_auth_basic provider
in auth.xml is activated and creation of new users, too. I can log in with
Kerberos Tickets but
the new user doesn't get created. Icinga-web always uses the same account.

Is there anyone having an idea,
where the problem could be located?

Best regards,
Marco

Betreff: [icinga-users] Icinga Setup

Recently I set up Icinga for my company and added my hosts. The web console is
working and it is seeing the hosts I have added. The issue I am having is that
all of the hosts I have added, including the localhost, are showing as a Host
Down state. Is there something I need to check and/or configure to get this to
read a Host Up status?

Thanks,
