Once again, I sent an email before discovering the method to the madness. That 
being said, I believe the documentation needs a lot of work. For starters, it 
needs to be stated the icinga-LCONF is ancillary to NAGIOS-LConf. This means 
that you have to download both tar files and install the original before using 
the icinga version. I had to spend a couple of hours to figure this out.

Additionally, there is no way to specify whether LDAP server is local or 
remote. I had to run through a hackethon to get LConf to install properly. This 
meant that I had to run the installer on the remote LDAP server first, and then 
copy the /usr/local/LConf bit over to my icinga server. Overall, I think the 
experience could have been better. I understand this is version 1.x but the 
installer needs improvement before it is production ready.

Keep in mind, if you're going to win over some of the community member, you 
have to polish your scripts to make them easier to use compared to the other 
guys.
