Hello all, in times of virtualization I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one with the following problem: Is there a way to implement a host depending on a service of another host? To give an example: a xen vm won't respond to a ping host check unless the Dom0 is up. The latter is checked by a service check on the physical host. As the physical host is the parent of all vms, when the Dom0 service fails Icinga will report on all vm outages although it should be sufficient to report the Dom0 service only.
