I have just installed Icinga with the IDOUtils Quickstart guide, and
at the end of the quide my system was indeed monitoring the localhost.
However, i have since added a few switches to the swtch.cfg file & verified
the confguration
by running /usr/local/icinga/bin/icinga -v /usr/local/icinga/etc/icinga.cfg
results no errors.
The problem is none of swithes are being monitored. They do not show up in
the web interface
and they do not show up in the hosts table. Is their some other script that
need to be run in order to load
the new hosts into the DB. Currently the only device listed in the hosts
table is the localhost.
What am i doing?
