Thanks, I'll make a note of that for future. It turned out to be the integration of pnp4nagios, I believe there to be an issue. If one copies templates, edits them and re-integrates them under a new name in cronks.xml, it seems everything loads in IE but not Firefox, yet if one edits the existing service/host templates such that cronks.xml need not be changed then the cronks load in both browsers. This lead to the situation where the integration was perceived to be working but failed for a new user...
