During the overnight I have a small of one of my monitored WAN devices.
Icinga promptly sent out an down  alert email, and when the device came back
up the system sent up the up email. However,  4 hours  later the same device
went down
for 10 mins but no alert email was sent. Nothing change  on the system and
SMTP is up an running, and nothing is
stuck in the queue.


define service{

template
        host_name               Synergy-DSL        ; The name of the host
the service is associated with
        contact_groups          FT
        service_description     PING            ; The service description

how can I go about troubleshooting thisn.
