Hello,

I was wondering if there's a simple interface to provision new hosts to
icinga. I'm completely new to icinga but I have some experience with Nagios,
and I guess configuration is just the same (cfg files). I have an asset
management tool that holds most of the info needed for icinga configuration,
and I'd like to know if it's easy to inject that data into the configuration
files (i.e, there's an API for it) or if I'd need to do an script that reads
the asset management database and generates the required configuration files
for icinga. Maybe icinga doesn't have that included, but might there be some
piece of software for icinga/nagios that allows you to manipulate the cfg
files *and* provides a simple API for it?

Thanks in advance,
     Paco
