Hi All,
I have installed icinga-web 1.6.2 on a server running Debian 6.
When i try to execute some command from icinga web i am getting error.
/Could not send command. Check if your webserver's user has correct
permissions for writing to the command pipe/.
My command pipe permission is
root@server:~# ls -lai /var/lib/icinga/rw/
total 8
948708 drwxr-xr-x 2 nagios www-data 4096 Mar 29 10:24 .
948705 drwxr-xr-x 4 nagios nagios 4096 Mar 29 10:30 ..
948689 prw-rw---- 1 nagios nagios 0 Mar 29 10:24 icinga.cmd
Apache log shows
sh: cannot create /var/lib/icinga/rw/icinga.cmd: Permission denied
Can someone help me to resolve this error.
