I have a strange issue. I installed Icinga with IDOUtils according to the
quickstart guide at icinga.org and everything is working fine. Then I
installed Icinga-web and followed the instructions on the website. At first
when I tried to login with root;password I got a access denied error. After
searching around I found that the version of PCRE that I was using needed to be
upgraded so I upgraded to version 8.12. Now when I login I can see the welcome
page but I immediately get a pop-up message that says: "Your login session has
gone away, press ok to login again!".
When I press OK, the screen refreshes and the session timeout box pops up
again. It does this every time (I've tried in IE, FF, and Chrome). I've
checked the session timeout settings in the config files and have verified that
they are longer than 2 seconds. How would I go about fixing this? My system
specs are below.
RHEL 5.8
Icinga 1.6.1
Icinga-web 1.6.2
Mysql 5.0
Apache 2.2.3
PHP 5.3.3
