Hello --
I went through the motions of installing Icinga and Icinga-Web from scratch due
to problems with the server hardware
on the original install. Again, the Icinga classic interface is working
properly, but the new web interface is not showing
any data.
Going through my notes from the last time this occurred, I checked for the
following:
1. Incinga with IDOutils enabled.
This is confirmed due to the ido2db daemon running, and there being a
idoutils.cfg file in the appropriate directory.
2. Icinga-web installed with the correct options.
The configure script was run with the following options:
'--prefix=/usr/local/icinga-web' '--with-web-user=www-data'
'--with-web-group=www-data'
'--with-web-path=/icinga-web'
'--with-web-apache-path=/etc/apache2/conf.d' '--with-db-type=mysql'
'--with-db-host=localhost' '--with-db-port=3306'
'--with-db-name=icinga_web' '--with-db-user=icinga_web'
'--with-db-pass=icinga_web' '--with-conf-dir=etc/conf.d'
'--with-log-folder=log'
3. The icinga-web database has been created with the following permissions:
Database User Host Permissions
icinga_web<http://132.183.12.194:10000/mysql/edit_db.cgi?idx=1>
icinga_web localhost Select | Insert | Update | Delete | Create |
Drop | Index | Alter
I checked the Apache, Icinga, and Icinga-web log files, but there were no
apparent messages. Why is the data not appearing on-screen?
