Without IDOUtils your startup time should be quite quick
indeed and you should get into the main event loop within
seconds of a restart. I'd go with Michael's suggestion of
upgrading to 1.7.2 as that revision did make improvements
to the scheduler that may applicable to your situation.
If updating to 1.7.2 does not solve the problem, you'll
need to see if there is contention for resources on your
system. Certainly the timing indications provided by the
"-s" invocation does not indicate a problem.
